The Wasp WWS500 wireless barcode scanner is a lightweight, cordless barcode scanning solution. It delivers unmatched freedom, flexibility and functionality in a value-packed cordless barcode scanner. The WWS500 is ideal when used as a wireless barcode scanner at retail; as a barcode reader for light industrial manufacturing; or as a cordless barcode scanner in warehouse and distribution centres, offices, mail rooms or mobile service environments. Simply plug the Bluetooth USB adaptor into an available USB slot of a PC. Or use the built-in Bluetooth of mobile devices (eg. Smartphones, PDAs) to connect with the WWS500 wireless barcode reader. The Bluetooth wireless connectivity provides a barcode read range of up to 160\' away from the PC or mobile device. An integrated, rechargeable battery provides exceptionally long scan life on a single charge with over 25,000 continuous scans. This cordless barcode scanner unit has an out of range indicator, as well as low battery warning. The CCD LR scan engine scans all popular linear (1D) barcodes with a scan range up to 12ft away from the barcode. Wireless functionality eliminates cumbersome cords, creating a more efficient working environment.
