The D-Link DGS-1224TP is the first product of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Gigabit Smart Switch, which has consistent Web GUI interface, look and feel with existing Smart Switches. This new PoE Smart Switch integrates more management functions that deliver performance, scalability, ease-of-use, and affordability. In addition, the DGS-1224T incorporates more security features, like Denial of Service protection or D-Link Safeguard Engine to prevent switch from virus infection or worm scanning.

DGS-1224TP supports 802.3af PoE on all 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports, which is capable of power IP phones, wireless access points and IP cameras. This PoE Smart Switch is an ideal solution for small- and medium-sized businesses deploying cutting-edge PoE-enabled infrastructure. D-Link Innovative “Green Ethernet” Technology implements special power saving feature under speed at 1000Mbps that detects link status to reduce power usage.
