This PCI Express based Gigabit Ethernet Network Adaptor Card offers a versatile solution that allows servers and desktop PCs to connect to a Gigabit network through a PCIe slot, providing full Gigabit bandwidth capacity with the dedicated bandwidth of the connected PCI Express bus to provide dependable connectivity. Fully compliant with the 10/100/1000 Mbps IEEE 802.3 specification, this PCIe Gigabit NIC provides a maximum transfer speed of 1000Mbps (bidirectional - 2000Mbps total) - ensuring a high performance network connection. This Adaptor also offers 10/100/1000Mbps data rate auto-negotiation and full duplex operation that helps to optimize connection speeds and provide efficient performance.

Description

The network adaptor is compatible with Linux, Windows 2000, XP (x86/x64), Server 2003 (x86/x64) and Vista (x86/x64) operating systems and includes full-height and low profile screw-on brackets for installation in standard, small/micro form factor computer cases as well as 1U and 2U servers.
