Summary

The SATSAS425BK 4-Drive 2.5in SATA/SAS Hot-swap Backplane lets you install four 2.5 SATA and/or SAS hard drives into a single 5.25in front bay. Using removable trays, each drive can be replaced or swapped out without having to open up the computer chassis. Each removable tray features a locking mechanism that prevents unauthorized removal of the drives, and also power and activity LEDs. Constructed from lightweight and durable aluminum to help with heat dissipation, the backplane also features a 40mm cooling fan to help increase air flow.

Description

Install four easily removable/swappable hard drives into a single 5.25in bay. Removable hard drive trays with locks, for quick, convenient and secure access to SATA/SAS hard drives. Supports up to 15mm height 2.5in hard drives, including high-capacity SATA drives and SAS drives. Add up to 4 SATA/SAS hard drives to small form factor systems with a limited number of hard drive bays. Add convenient removable storage for backups or RAID storage systems. Maximize hard drive density in a system by adding 4 hard drives for each 5.25in bay. Build a small, power-efficient storage array with low-powered 2.5in drives.
