Summary

The SATSAS225ODD Dual 2.5in SATA/SAS Removable Hard Drive + Slim Optical Drive Hot Swap Backplane allows a single 5.25in front bay to fit two 2.5in SATA or SAS hard drives or Solid State Drives (HDD/SSD), as well as and a slimline SATA optical drive (CD/DVD/BD). With removable and lockable drive trays, the hard drives can easily be taken out of the system, but also secured from unauthorized removal. The slim optical bay fits most off-the-shelf slim optical drives and a built-in cooling fan helps keep the installed devices running optimally. Ideal for small form factor desktops with limited expansion space.
