Summary

The Accelero XTREME Plus is a multi-compatible cooler for high-end VGA boards. While high-end VGA stock coolers are usually noisy and inefficient, ARCTIC develops the Accelero XTREME Plus, a much more effective inaudible cooling solution, for users to replace those stock coolers. Another key feature in the Accelero XTREME Plus is its interchangeable mounting plate for vast compatibility for new or yet to be released graphic cards. Along with the Accelero XTREME Plus, users need to purchase and install a set of accessories with their cooler, including a mounting frame, thermal glue, heat sinks for RAM coolers, and heat sinks for voltage regulators1. Rather than having several VGA coolers designated for specific graphic cards, ARCTIC develops this generic model of cooler and various accessory sets to make the cooler compatible with different VGA boards. As new VGA cards are released, ARCTIC will design and release new fittings; hence this makes the Accelero XTREME Plus very versatile for overclockers to upgrade their computers frequently. This also helps overclockers to provide quick and effective cooling solution for new graphic boards.
